We believe that clubs exist for the community and our dedication to local causes remains as strong today as ever.

In the 2009/2010 financial year the C.ex Group have donated $532, 325 to community organisations

To assist us in giving fair and thorough consideration to every donation request, we ask that you read the criteria below and ensure that your submission contains all of the information we require.

 C.ex Group gets behind a challenging ride

It’s not unusual to hear of the C.ex Group supporting local community organisations, so when the ask was made to support a new and exciting sporting challenge on our very own stretch of coastland, it was an easy decision for the C.ex Group to support. read more

Apply for sponsorship

C.ex Group supports many community and charitable organisations on the Coffs Coast. Such support is given through the Community Development & Support Expenditure Scheme (CDSE). The CDSE is separated into 2 categories as outlined below.

Category 1: expenditure on specific community welfare and social services, community development, community health services and employment assistance activities. All requests for Category 1 must be referred to Coffs Harbour City Council, through the CDSE Coordinator.

Category 2: expenditure on other community development and support services, such as waiving of room hire or monetary donations towards, sporting equipment or events etc. This is determined through the C.ex Group, Finance Committee.

Donation Timeline

• The Finance committee meet on the second Tuesday of each month to review requests submitted.
• Once the requests have been reviewed, a recommendation is put forward by the Finance Committee. The recommendations are then put to the C.ex Group Boards Special Board Meeting for ratification.
• C.ex Group Special Board Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month. We will reply to all letters of request as soon as possible after the day of the Special Board Meeting.
• It is advisable for requests to be written at least 6 weeks in advance.
  

How to Apply

When preparing your proposal, please be sure your letter contains the following information to assist us in our evaluation.

• Request must be on company letterhead or have letter of support attached from your chosen charity.
• Name of Organisation.
• Please include your website if applicable.
• Your letter must clearly outline the DATE of your function.
• Your letter must clearly outline your request, i.e. monetary/in kind or goods for auction.
• If your request is to hold a function at one of the C.ex Group of clubs, please include the desired date and your exact request.
• State in your letter if you are a member of C.ex Group.
• To be considered for a donation or sponsorship with C.ex Group you must submit a proposal to us in writing, to:
